How to Help

The Lawrence Township School Foundation believes that ALL children should be supported to achieve their highest potential. We believe that everybody has something that they can contribute to their community, whether that be treasure, time or talents. That is what the Power of Community is all about.  You have the power to make it possible for ALL Lawrence Township kids to succeed.

2019 Indiana Teacher of Year

Congratulations to Tamara Markey, a pre-engineering teacher at McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology for being named the 2019 Indiana Department of Education Teacher of the Year. LTSF is so proud of Ms. Markey and her commitment to excellence in education. She continually strives to help not only her students but all succeed.

In May 2018, Ms. Markey was a winner of the LTSF sponsored Excellence Design Challenge in MSD of Lawrence Township. Together with Jeff Smith, the winning idea was for Mobile STEM Labs for the District.
