Ways to Give

Planned Giving

Building Now for Tomorrow - Planned Giving at LTSF

Leave a legacy that reflects your values and shapes the future of education in Lawrence Township. By including the Lawrence Township School Foundation in your estate plans, you create lasting impact—transforming lives and enriching futures for generations of students to come.

Planned giving offers meaningful and flexible ways to support LTSF while meeting your financial and philanthropic goals. Whether you want to generate income, reduce taxes, or establish an enduring gift, there are options to suit every donor.

Your gift today becomes tomorrow’s opportunity—fueling innovative programs, teacher grants, scholarships, and student support across all LT schools.

Ways to Give

Bequests

A bequest is a simple and powerful way to support LTSF through your will or trust. You can designate a specific amount, asset, or percentage of your estate to benefit future generations of students.

Endowments

Create a lasting legacy through an endowment gift. Your principal investment remains intact and generates income to support scholarships or programs you care about—year after year.

Charitable Gift Annuities

Make a gift to LTSF and receive a fixed annual income for life. This win-win strategy supports your financial future while advancing our mission.

Charitable Remainder Trusts

A charitable remainder trust is an arrangement in which property is donated to a charity, but the donor continues to use the property and receive income from it as long as he/she lives. This arrangement, in certain circumstances, can increase income, reduce taxes, unlock appreciated investments, and provide key support to Lawrence Township students.

Appreciated Securities

When you give the Lawrence Township School Foundation appreciated marketable securities that you have owned long term, you receive a tax deduction for the full value of the gift. Furthermore, neither you nor the Foundation is responsible for payment of capital gains tax.

Donor Advised Funds

A donor advised fund is a giving vehicle administered by a third party and created in order to manage donations on behalf of the organization, family, or individual. This is a simple, tax-smart way to support our work today and in the future.

Charitable Lead Trusts

A charitable lead trust is an opportunity to make a donation now and reduce tax costs upon the estate for the future.
