Up & Running

The LTSF Up & Running program is an afterschool running club for elementary students that increases fitness awareness. The mission is to challenge students to experience the benefits of goal setting, character development, adult mentoring, and improved health by providing them with a life-changing experience. The ultimate goal is to train two days a week and compete in a 5K run at the Indy Half Marathon at Fort Ben in the Fall and the Prairie Dash 5K in the Spring.

New Up & Running Partner!

The Lawrence Township School Foundation (LTSF) is proud to announce a new community partnership with Changing Footprints, celebrating the installation of their 20th community shoe rack and the launch of support for the “Up and Running” program. Together, we’ll work to ensure that nearly 500 elementary students in Lawrence Township have access to proper running shoes—an important step toward health, confidence, and success. With this exciting collaboration, we see the potential to grow beyond the Up & Running program and expand support across all 21 schools in our district, serving more than 17,000 students. This partnership represents a shared commitment to stretch our impact and change the world, two feet at a time.
