Support Lawrence Township students every time you drive.

Choose Indiana’s “Committed to Education” license plate when you register or renew your vehicle. Your plate will show your commitment to public education—and $18.75 from the annual plate fee will return to our community to benefit Lawrence Township students through the Lawrence Township School Foundation (LTSF).

The specialty plate costs an additional $40 each year:

  • $15 covers BMV administrative costs.
  • $6.25 supports a statewide education program.

  • $18.75 benefits the public-school corporation or education foundation you designate - LTSF!
     

How to order your plate online

  1. Visit myBMV.com and sign in to your account.

    Don’t have an account? You may create one or select the option to renew your plates without creating an account. The guest renewal process will ask for your driver’s license number, the last four digits of your Social Security number or I-94 number, and the ZIP code shown on your driver’s license.
     

  2. Begin your vehicle registration renewal.
     
  3. Select the vehicle for which you want to order the plate.
     
  4. When asked to select or change your plate design, choose the Indiana “Committed to Education” plate—the plate featuring the owls.
     

  5. When asked which school corporation should benefit from your purchase, select:

    Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township

    Please use the full district name. Do not search for or select “LTSF,” “LT,” or “MSDLT.”

     

  6. Review your selection and complete your registration payment.
     
  7. Your new plate will be mailed to the address associated with your vehicle registration. The BMV advises allowing up to 21 business days for delivery.

Visit any Indiana BMV branch and tell the representative:

“I would like the ‘Committed to Education’ license plate, and I want to designate the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township to receive the education contribution.”

Before completing your transaction, confirm that Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township appears as your designated school corporation.


Already have an education plate?

Renew your plate as usual and confirm that the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township remains your designated school corporation. Your support continues each year that you renew the plate.

  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
  11. Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
